On his birthday the producer, story, screenplay writer and hero Jagadish Gowda launched his film ‘JD’ at his hometown Ramanagara on a rainy afternoon in top notch S Narayan direction. JD once in the camp of Sudeep, later launched in Chamarajapet has made a long wait to reach to this position of hero. He wants to contest from Ramanagaram Assembly constituency and he wants his talent to be proved through his film ‘JD’ and good work in the society.


I want to touch No.1 position from this film. After a long cycle in the industry I have prepared this script and screenplay. I shifted my interest because such an efficient director was needed. I convinced S Narayan to take up direction. Now I would say this would create trend for a minimum of 10 years. JD script is so strong and novel. Not even a scene you would find from other films.


After my narration S Narayanji took some time to give approval. I don’t mind retiring after this good film. It is because friends and well wishers asking frequently why such a good plan for cinema has stopped, I am here today. There is heroism in the film. This type of cinema is required. It would create revolution in the society. My subject touches on the quality in the society. All would relate and recognize this film. For those who see this film ‘Heart Attacks’. That means it touches the heart.

On the selection of heroine we are keeping in touch with Aliya Bhat. There are two heroines who would fit in to the role. They have not yet given nod. My idea is when home food is good, why we should go to hotel food.
